
Çiğdem Ülger
Director of Legal Affairs
Çigdem Ülger is Director of Legal Affairs for Cambridge Sustainable Technologies Research and Development Centre Ltd. She has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law and has been appointed as a Technical Risk Specialist by the Institute of Risk Management. Çiğdem has extensive international experience, having worked on the legal aspects of major projects in the UK, Ghana, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Armenia, Cyprus, Afghanistan and Turkey. These include acting as Compliance Officer for power plant projects between the Turkish government and the Czech Republic, for the Tunisia Mediterranean Flight Academy, for Bilge Adam Technologies and for a number of World Bank and Blockchain projects. Çiğdem is a dedicated advocate for human rights as regards the social, economic, and technological aspects of urban development, and has committed her career to promoting equitable and rights-based approaches to urban transformation. Early in her career she worked for Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği with a responsibility to protect universal children’s rights, women’s rights and human rights.
